As composer and self taught of his instrument he began with the age of 7 years
his study in Buenos Aires
with Giuseppe Logionvine, Athos Palma, Julián Bautista
and Alberto Ginastera
and later at Scuola Cantorum Paris
where he remained during 12 years together
with Daniel Lesur and Pierre Wismer.
He also assisted the Musicological Institute at Sorbonne.
In Argentina he gave bandoneon lessons at the National Conservatory
as the first professor for bandoneon. He founded
also chairs in Germany and Uruguay and gave more than 2000 concerts through
35 countries in halls like Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires,
Chopin Pleyel,
Salle Gaveau, Theatre des Champs Elysées, Carnegie Hall,
Town Hall NY,
Palais des Beaux Arts Bruxelles, Tchaikovsky Hall Kiev,
Wignore Hall London,
Sala Verdi and San Bavila Milan.
